  • PUR ULTIMATE WATER DISPENSER: PUR's Ultimate Water Dispenser with a Lead Reducing Filter is WQA certified to reduce 99% Lead & 22 other contaminants, so you know you're drinking cleaner water. CleanSensor monitor lets you know when to change the filer
  • PITCHER WATER FILTERS: PUR's Lead Reducing pitcher filters are WQA certified to reduce 99% Lead & 22 other contaminants, so you know you're drinking cleaner water. PUR Lead Reducing filters provide 30 gallons of filtration (1-2 months of typical use)
  • WHY FILTER WATER? Home tap water may look clean, but may contain potentially harmful pollutants & contaminants picked up on its journey through old pipes. PUR water filters, faucet filtration systems & water filter pitchers reduce these contaminants
  • SUPERIOR WATER FILTRATION: PUR Lead Reducing pitcher water filters reduce 23 contaminants, including lead, by using activated carbon & ion exchange. Using a PUR water filter for tap water is more affordable than bottled water, save up to $1,000 per year
  • WATER SHOULD BE PUR: PUR has been providing families with water filter systems for over 30 years. Compare PUR products to water filters from Brita, Kenmore, Berkey, Frigidaire, ZeroWater, Sawyer, Culligan, Aquagear, Soma, Amana and Aquasana

Highly recommended system and been using Pur since I live in Alaska (now in mainland US). Well, I bought Brita pitcher a few weeks ago to try it out but the result was not good. Water taste funny after filtering it through Brita from the faucet and wife had the same experience. We bought a brand new PUR dispenser filter system and the water that is being filtered from Pur taste like bottled water from costco. Highly recommend PUR system.

I've had this for more than a month and it's been so dependable and complication-free. I fill it up just once a day and it provides tasty, cool, fresh water for two people and our doggie dish. It fits in our fridge efficiently as opposed to the two Britta pitchers we previously had that needed filling every time you poured a glass and were obtrusive. Heck, I've bought 4 or 5 of these over the years and keep introducing them to the households I live at.

Why should you buy Pur over competing products? For me, the answer is "microbial cysts." Those are little nasties like giardia, for example. A Pur brand filter is good to have around in case of emergencies because it's able to remove things, like giardia, that no other inexpensive filter on the market can remove. I've done my research-non of the common pitcher type filters remove microbial cysts other than Pur-this sets it apart in the low cost filter marketplace. As far as it's filtering ability, I actually like Mavea filters slightly more-based on the way the filtered water tastes-on paper, they're about equal, which puts Pur above all of the other brands of inexpensive filter pitchers in terms of amount and number of contaminants it removes. Everyone in hurricane country should either have a camping type filter (like a lifestraw, or katadyn) or a Pur pitcher filter-the Pur being the bargain option. I really like this product-it's great for filling up with a 5 gallon jug full of your "source" water. There is a natural spring near my house that is likely free of microbial cysts, but hey, you never know, so I fill up jugs of water at the source, then filter it through this baby just to be safe. Best tasting water of my lifetime. This filter is especially good at removing lead, which is likely a concern for everyone living in a pre 1970s home. Whether you use it for lead, keep it in a closet for emergencies, or simply want to remove the chlorine taste from your tap water, I highly recommend Pur.

It is a little slow but water taste wonderful so don't mind.

This thing is amazing. The water tastes GREAT and fits perfectly on my fridge shelf. The lever-like spout makes it so you don’t have to haul it out of the fridge at and point except to refill it- so no kid spills!!! Best water filter I’ve ever bought.

My only complaint would be that if u release the water tab a little strongly, the backing of where the battery is stored flies off, but such an easy fix with a tiny amount of glue or a piece o clear tape, this is the second pure filter of this design, love them both, now i have the older design one in the fridge, i have use pure for about 20 years now, had the faucet filter and pitchers and these over the years, great product.

Perfect for what I was looking for! Fits well in the fridge without taking up too much space due to its slim design. I also like the tap that also displays the life of the filter inside.

Easy to assemble, gives very clean crisp tasting water. Great purchase.

Had been purchasing bottled water for years due to living outside the city limits and no liking the hard water from the Water Coop system. Decided that we were going to try filtering water. I had used Pur filters on my faucet and decided to do a second filter which makes the water perfect. I keep this in the refrigerator and refill by pulling it out about an inch. It does not leak at all and have had it for about 3-4 months. It holds a lot of water and I would order a replacement if this one wears out. There is a tiny light in the handle that flashes green when the filter is good and changes color when it is time to change the filter. Good setup.

I've only had this unit for 2 months. I definitely notice a change in the taste of the water, even compared to bottled water - which I'd been buying! Ill be keeping my eyes open though. With other brand's pitchers, I've had a ton of problems!
